भद्रवाह/जम्मू: जम्मू-कश्मीर के डोडा जिले में गुरुवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में भारतीय सेना के 10 जवान शहीद हो गए, जबकि 11 अन्य जवान घायल हो गए। यह दुर्घटना भद्रवाह–चंबा अंतरराज्यीय मार्ग पर खन्नी टॉप के पास उस समय हुई, जब सेना का एक वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में जा गिरा।
जानकारी के अनुसार, बुलेटप्रूफ सैन्य वाहन में कुल 21 जवान सवार थे, जो एक ऊंचाई पर स्थित सैन्य चौकी की ओर जा रहे थे। इसी दौरान चालक वाहन पर से नियंत्रण खो बैठा और वाहन लगभग 200 फीट गहरी खाई में गिर गया। हादसे के बाद इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया।

भद्रवाह की ब्लॉक मेडिकल ऑफिसर (बीएमओ) डॉ. वर्षा शर्मा ने बताया कि दुर्घटना में 10 जवानों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। 10 जवान गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए हैं, जिन्हें बेहतर इलाज के लिए रेफर किया गया है, जबकि एक जवान को मामूली चोटें आई हैं और उसका इलाज भद्रवाह अस्पताल में चल रहा है।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही सेना और पुलिस ने संयुक्त रूप से बचाव एवं राहत अभियान शुरू किया। वरिष्ठ सैन्य और पुलिस अधिकारी घायलों के इलाज और उनकी शिफ्टिंग की निगरानी के लिए भद्रवाह अस्पताल पहुंचे। जीएमसी डोडा से एम्बुलेंस के साथ डॉक्टरों और पैरामेडिकल स्टाफ की टीम भी मौके पर तैनात की गई।

अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, गंभीर रूप से घायल जवानों को विशेष उपचार के लिए हवाई मार्ग से उधमपुर स्थित कमांड अस्पताल ले जाया गया है, जहां उनका इलाज जारी है।

जम्मू-कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने हादसे पर गहरा दुख जताते हुए कहा कि इस दुर्घटना में देश ने अपने 10 बहादुर सैनिकों को खो दिया है। उन्होंने शहीद जवानों के परिजनों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की और कहा कि इस दुख की घड़ी में पूरा देश उनके साथ खड़ा है।
